Keemun Congou is produced in the lowland region of Qimen in southern Anhui Province. It was not until the late 19th century that a man from Fujian began growing black Congou in the Anhui region. The tea quickly became popular worldwide and is considered one of the world's best black teas. This tea is of a stronger type and has a slightly earthy character.
