This tea, harvested during the summer, "second flush", has a round and rich taste with a long aftertaste and a slightly spicy aftertaste.

Singtom, from the word 'Singtam', means 'House of the Lion'. The tea estate was established in 1854 as Steinthal's sister estate, and expanded in 1862 to become Darjeeling's first tea estate with a hotel.
