This tea has a lovely, round and nutty character.

An unusual tea, as it is roasted over hot coals. The leaves change colour to reddish brown and the flavour takes on a very roasted and nutty tone. The process is said to have originated in Kyoto around 1920. The flavour is light and at the same time very roasted, without bitterness. This tea has a lovely, round and nutty character.
