German missionaries were involved in the foundation of this 257 hectare plantation, which lies at an altitude of 980-2,050 metres above sea level. An exceptionally high-quality tea with its beautiful amber hue, and highly aromatic and spicy taste. You can detect elements of nutmeg in the aroma.
For this tea we suggest trying the Western-style of brewing. The idea behind it is to use much less leaf and much more water while brewing-times are much longer to extract as much of the flavor as possible at once.
The beverage is semi-dark, and the taste is medium-strong with a slightly malty aftertaste.
Excellently suited as a fine breakfast tea, with or without milk.
A quality tea, with large leaves and many buds, which is both mild and spicily aromatic at the same time.
