Makaibari is located at Kurseong, land of the white orchid in Darjeeling. It is the world’s first tea factory and was established in 1859. This is a beautiful second-flush from this traditional garden and it has an aromatic, nutty aroma.
For this tea we suggest trying the Western-style of brewing. The idea behind it is to use much less leaf and much more water while brewing-times are much longer to extract as much of the flavor as possible at once.
Its rich, strong, creamy taste, characteristic spiciness and malty tones makes this tea unique.
The tea comes from specially selected plantations in the district, which produce an aromatic drink of deep colour.
Powerful, rich, and deep in colour. Perfectly suitable as a musky yet smooth milk tea.
