Jungpana Tea Estate was established in 1899 and is rather difficult to reach due to its inaccessible location along the steep mountain slopes, surrounded by coniferous forest, mountain rapids and dense vegetation. This area, with its high minerality of the soil, helps the tea plants to flourish and thrive.
This tea has a fantastic muscatel character and is exceptionally aromatic with a lingering long lasting aftertaste.
For this tea we suggest trying the Western-style of brewing. The idea behind it is to use much less leaf and much more water while brewing-times are much longer to extract as much of the flavor as possible at once.
A quality tea, with large leaves and many buds, which is both mild and spicily aromatic at the same time.
The taste is well-balanced, rich, strong and aromatically sweet.
