Like many other tea farms, Ambootia has chosen to produce organic tea, and has been certified by the Institute of Market Ecology in Switzerland. The tea has been produced in Ambootia since 1861 and gives a light and fresh taste with sweet, floral tones.
For this tea we suggest trying the Western-style of brewing. The idea behind it is to use much less leaf and much more water while brewing-times are much longer to extract as much of the flavor as possible at once.
This is a strong full-bodied and astringent green tea.
A soft and neutral tea. Its taste is generally more acidic and less sweet than those of other green teas.
The most elegant, exclusive of teas, with fresh, algal aroma and a rounded sweetness.
